2022 has seen traceability emerge as a key trend for companies all over the world: it is becoming the new "license-to-operate" for businesses, and an essential tool to differentiate the best supply chains. 2023 therefore promises to be a fascinating time, as we will keep supporting great industrials in their traceability journey with our best-in-class platform.
But first let’s take a moment to look back at our main achievements in 2022!
This year’s successes are a testimony to Tilkal’s unique position as a truly cross-sector, cross-product solution: new collaborations with food industry leaders such as Coeur de Lion (Savencia Group) and Provamel (Danone Group), an expanded collaboration with Daher for conflict minerals traceability in the aerospace industry, as well as exciting (but still confidential!) projects in recycled PET, home accessories, and cosmetics. We also expanded in the textile industry with major actors such as Aigle, IKKS, and others. Finally, we initiated our first project in Africa on cattle traceability for a governmental actor.
Spotlight, our digital passport, is used all over Europe to differentiate our clients' products with 8 languages available. It is rated 4,96/5 by consumers and we count up to 1 scan every 5 minutes on some product categories: this is the way forward for trusted communication with the consumer and promoting brand values!
Tilkal is very proud to now be co-funded by the European Union. Last October, we joined the very select circle of Europe's high potential companies to be awarded funding from the most competitive European Innovation Council Accelerator. This reinforces our determination to offer the most differentiating traceability platform for European industrials.
Tilkal was selected to be part of the "Startups with impact" and "Startups acting for the decarbonisation of industry" mappings by Bpifrance and France Digitale, acknowledging that end-to-end traceability is at the service of impact and in line with the UN's sustainable development objectives.
We are working hard to give a concrete face to our commitment to diversity and parity: our team is now made up of 48% women...something to be proud of in the tech ecosystem!
We participated in over 30 fairs, events and webinars, and published numerous blog posts (read them here) to share our exclusive expertise and spread the word about traceability and transparency for Industry 4.0.
We are bringing some major improvements to the UI and UX of our platform to simplify the navigation between all aspects of your supply chain - suppliers, certificates, products, flows, events, transactions, etc. This opens the door to unprecedented reporting, ensuring full visibility on origin, ESG compliance and operations. We are very excited to start the roll out beginning of 2023!
We are shaping one of the largest supply chain traceability network in the world: 79 independent nodes have been deployed to date and hundreds of businesses are connected, including brands and suppliers from different industries (cosmetics, textile, food, manufacturing, etc.) who now use our network to share data with a high level of confidentiality and auditability.
